What this ranking is not

It is not a list of who paid us, and it is not a measure of what these companies are like to work at — we have no way to measure that from job postings. It measures one thing: how good their listings are as listings. A company that writes complete descriptions, publishes salary, and does not leave dead roles up for six months scores well here. That correlates with a serious hiring process; it does not prove one.
