Why this grade This listing scored 36/100, which is an F. It lost the most ground on freshness. See the breakdown
- Description depth 20 / 20 How much the posting actually says about the work, measured in characters of real text.
- Pay transparency 12 / 25 A published salary range, worth more than any other single factor because it is what a candidate cannot find out without applying.
- Remote clarity 8 / 15 Whether "remote" means anywhere, or is quietly restricted to one country.
- Role specificity 6 / 10 Whether the listing is tagged well enough to tell what the role actually is.
- Corroboration 5 / 10 Whether more than one source carries this listing.
- Freshness 0 / 15 How recently it was posted. Older postings are likelier to be filled or abandoned.
-15 Ghost-job penalty — Deducted for signals that this posting may not be a real, currently-open role — staleness, repeated relisting, or talent-pool language.
Every figure above is arithmetic over the posting itself — its salary field, its text, its age, its tags and how many sources carry it. How the grades work →

The Motion Designer sits on the Creative Studio Production team, acting as an AI-first innovator in the motion and video space. This role focuses on leveraging cutting-edge generative AI and motion design to craft compelling video/CTV, DOOH ads, and marketing collateral. You will be at the forefront of redefining advertising creativity, integrating AI-driven workflows into every stage of production to accelerate concepting, asset generation, and final execution.
This role requires a high level of autonomy and creativity. This person will receive briefs from Creative Strategists and/or clients but may be required to source storyboards, scripts, brand assets, or stock assets to complete a project.
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t mind work that may be repetitive (brands and concepts are always changing, though), are eager to continuously improve their design skillset, can work independently, and show curiosity/interest in innovating what an ad can be!
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
- Working with Creative Strategists to interpret clients’ requests, goals and feedback and content of communications materials to meet their needs;
- Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication;
- Design and create enticing motion graphics for video and interactive deliverables (video ads, web banners, etc.);
- Prepare sketches, layouts, storyboards, and graphic elements of the subjects to be rendered using traditional tools, multimedia software and image processing, layout, and design software;
- Use existing photo and video banks and typography guides to produce images and videos that meet clients' communications needs;
- Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers;
- Coordinate all aspects of production for audio-visual or electronic materials, such as Web banners, CTV ads and Native ads;
- Work in a multidisciplinary environment;
- Contribute to the continuous innovation of the Creative Studio offerings.
- Integrate generative AI tools into the production pipeline to rapidly prototype concepts, generate assets, and iterate on video/motion content; actively pilot and implement new AI-based techniques and tools to improve Creative Studio offerings.
Qualifications/Required Experience:
- A compelling motion design portfolio;
- Strong abilities in After Effects, Audition, Premiere, Photoshop and Illustrator;
- Experience in storyboarding and concept development, with the ability to translate creative briefs into bespoke, brand-aligned designs that demonstrate a strong command of typography, layout, and composition.
- Experience with audio production and audio editing;
- AI-First Mindset: Proven ability to integrate generative AI into creative workflows and comfort with rapidly experimenting with new AI platforms to solve design challenges.
- Proficiency in AI Creative Tools: Hands-on experience with industry-standard AI video and image generation platforms (e.g., Runway, Midjourney) and a clear understanding of their practical application in advertising.
- Practical experience with creating custom scripts for After Effects that solve day-to-day production challenges.
- Experience creating ads or videos for digital campaigns; knowledge of production best practices for CTV, DOOH, and audio is a plus.
- Experience with asset optimization across digital, mobile, and/or video platforms;
- A desire to work autonomously on fast-paced projects across a wide range of industries.
- Experience with HTML/CSS, and bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a bonus!
