Why this grade This listing scored 48/100, which is a D. It lost the most ground on pay transparency. See the breakdown
- Description depth 20 / 20 How much the posting actually says about the work, measured in characters of real text.
- Pay transparency 12 / 25 A published salary range, worth more than any other single factor because it is what a candidate cannot find out without applying.
- Freshness 8 / 15 How recently it was posted. Older postings are likelier to be filled or abandoned.
- Remote clarity 8 / 15 Whether "remote" means anywhere, or is quietly restricted to one country.
- Corroboration 5 / 10 Whether more than one source carries this listing.
- Role specificity 0 / 10 Whether the listing is tagged well enough to tell what the role actually is.
-5 Ghost-job penalty — Deducted for signals that this posting may not be a real, currently-open role — staleness, repeated relisting, or talent-pool language.
Every figure above is arithmetic over the posting itself — its salary field, its text, its age, its tags and how many sources carry it. How the grades work →

$80k – $167k
That is the middle half of what comparable roles paid on this board over the last 90 days — 224 listings that did publish a figure, median $117k. It is not this employer's offer, and we have no idea what they pay. It is only what the rest of the market advertised.
BackgroundOur company came out of Y Combinator in 2015. Since then we've grown to 1000+ remote workers, with strong venture-backing (including Sequoia Capital) and over $30M in funding to date. We are fully remote across Asia and US time zones. Why This Role Was Made For YouIf you've spent years making cold calls, grinding pipelines from zero, and converting skeptics into buyers — you're exactly who we're looking for.
Magic gives you 50+ warm inbound leads every month. No cold calling, no list-building, no prospecting from scratch. Your skills — the discipline, the persistence, the ability to handle rejection without flinching — are the exact thing our warm leads need on the other end of the phone. What You'll Get A fully remote inside sales role serving U.S. clients — every lead comes to you warm. Inbound, ad-driven meetings only.
- Top performers hit 80–150% of monthly target consistently
- At 100% quota: $3,500–$4,500/month
- At 150%+: $5,000+/month
- Paid monthly, in USD, regardless of where you're based
Our Hiring Process
- Quick Screen + Video Assessment (4 dropdown questions + 3 short video prompts, no live call)
- HR Background Check (45-minute call)
- Sales Leadership Interview + Live Role Play + Final Panel
- Offer within 48 hours of final stage
What Winning Looks Like
- 2–8 discovery calls a day, never dropping a follow-up
- 15+ quality discovery calls per week with C-level and Director-level prospects
- Every "not now" treated as a future win — patient, creative, persistent
- CRM always clean, next steps always set, nothing falls through the cracks
- Quota hit monthly, with eyes on exceeding it
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle — from inbound discovery call through close and onboarding handoff
- Uncover pain, establish urgency, match the right Magic product to each prospect's needs
- Manage a high-volume pipeline with discipline
- Collaborate with Support and Ops so clients start strong and stay happy
- Treat coaching as part of the job — apply feedback fast
Your Background
You Are the Right Fit If You've Done Any of These:- Outbound sales — cold calling, SDR/BDR with a track record of booking and closing, field sales, door-to-door, telesales
- B2C closing — insurance, real estate, financial products, automotive, telecom, retail finance. You closed deals face-to-face or over the phone, and you hit numbers.
- BPO sales — outbound or upselling roles at a call center with U.S. client exposure
- SDR/BDR promoted to AE — you've already made the jump, or you're ready to make it now
- Any sales role where rejection was part of the job and you showed up anyway
What We Need From You
- English at C1 or C2 — clear, confident, natural with U.S. buyers
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding targets — any industry, B2B or B2C
- CRM discipline — HubSpot or equivalent
- Available Monday–Friday during US Eastern or Central hours
- Stable home internet (min. 40 Mbps) for daily video calls
- Mindset: Hungry · Gritty · Coachable · Accountable
This Role Is NOT For You If: You wait for a manager to tell you what to do each day. You treat "not now" as a dead end. You blame leads or tools when numbers fall short. You see CRM hygiene as optional admin work.
