At Pivot + Edge, we’re not your typical recruitment agency. We’re rethinking how recruitment gets done. We support mission-driven companies attract, engage, and hire top talent without the agency fluff or inflated fees.
We’ve built a best-in-class process and strategy that changes how companies think about recruiting. And we’re just getting started.
We combine recruitment expertise, marketing and the right infrastructure to help growing organizations attract better candidates and build stronger hiring processes.
We’re a small, collaborative team that values curiosity, ownership and people who are always looking for a better way to do the work.
What You’ll Do
Pivot + Edge is looking for a contract marketing professional to help us turn ideas into consistent, polished content.
We already have the strategy, subject matter expertise and plenty of ideas. We’re looking for someone who can help us execute: creating social content, editing short-form video and keeping marketing activities moving week to week.
This is a flexible, part-time contract opportunity for someone who is comfortable jumping between content creation, video editing and general marketing execution.
You’ll work closely with our marketing team to:
• Create and schedule social media content, primarily for LinkedIn
• Turn ideas, notes and existing content into polished social posts
• Edit short-form video content for LinkedIn and other social channels
• Add captions, simple graphics, branding and formatting to video
• Repurpose longer-form content into shorter social assets
• Support basic graphic and content creation using tools like Canva
• Help maintain a consistent content calendar and publishing cadence
• Support other marketing execution as needed
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need to be an expert in every area, but you should be someone who can take direction and independently get things done.
You’re likely a strong fit if you:
• Have experience creating content for social media
• Are comfortable editing short-form video
• Understand what makes content work on LinkedIn
• Have strong writing and editing skills
• Can work within an established brand voice
• Are comfortable using Canva and common content creation tools
• Are organized and able to manage multiple small deliverables
• Can take an idea or rough direction and turn it into a finished piece
• Are comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly
• Bring ideas forward when you see an opportunity to make something better
Nice to Have
Experience with any of the following would be an asset:
• B2B marketing
• Recruitment or employer branding
• LinkedIn company page management
• Content scheduling platforms
• Basic graphic design
