Operations Product Mid level Part Time
Position Summary
RTS is seeking an organized, proactive, and results-driven Project Manager to lead projects from planning through successful completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing timelines and deliverables, engaging stakeholders, identifying and resolving risks, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and in alignment with business objectives.
This role requires strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and completion.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Define project scope, objectives, requirements, roles, and responsibilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure project activities remain aligned with established goals and timelines.
- Facilitate project meetings, document decisions, and track action items through completion.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, issues, dependencies, and potential delays.
- Develop mitigation plans and escalate critical issues when appropriate.
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track project performance against established milestones, KPIs, and success criteria.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk and issue logs, and decision records.
- Identify opportunities to improve project management processes, tools, and ways of working.
- Support change management and implementation activities to promote successful adoption of project outcomes.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3–5+ years of project management, program management, operations, or related experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience developing project plans, status reports, executive updates, and project documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common project management and collaboration tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a cross-functional or matrixed organization.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
- Experience with project management platforms such as Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, or Microsoft Project.
- PMP, CAPM, Scrum, or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
