Senior Performance Media Buyer | DTC & eCommerce
About Zabota
Zabota is a top-ranked global recruitment firm, recognized as a Top HR Staffing Company by Clutch in 2025. We specialize in helping high-growth U.S. brands build elite, remote-first teams. Our mission is clear: Connect world-class talent from LATAM, Europe, and beyond with the most ambitious companies in the world.
About Our Client
Our client operates in the direct-to-consumer (DTC) and eCommerce space, focusing on scaling consumer brands through performance marketing, creative testing, and data-driven advertising strategies. The company is committed to profitable customer acquisition, sustainable revenue growth, and building high-performing teams that drive measurable results.
About the Role
We are seeking an elite-level Senior Performance Media Buyer with proven experience scaling DTC fashion and eCommerce brands through high-budget paid advertising.
This position is designed for a highly experienced operator who has personally managed 300,000- 500,000+ USD in monthly advertising spend and understands how to scale aggressively without sacrificing profitability.
We are not looking for someone who simply launches campaigns, adjusts budgets, and reports ROAS.
We need someone who understands the entire paid acquisition ecosystem, from advanced bidding strategies and attribution to creative performance, customer acquisition economics, and full-funnel growth.
You will take ownership of paid media performance across multiple DTC brands, working closely with our Creative Strategist and leadership team to identify opportunities, develop scaling strategies, and drive profitable revenue growth.
A dedicated support resource will assist with campaign uploads and execution, allowing you to focus on high-level strategy, analysis, testing, and optimisation.
Responsibilities
• Own and scale Meta Ads campaigns across multiple DTC brands, managing $300,000–$500,000+ in monthly ad spend.
• Execute advanced bidding strategies, including cost caps, bid caps, minimum ROAS, and highest-volume bidding.
• Scale winning campaigns to $10,000+ in daily spend while maintaining acquisition efficiency and profitability.
• Analyze performance across Meta Ads Manager, Shopify, Google Ads, and Triple Whale to guide scaling and budget allocation decisions.
• Monitor key performance metrics, including CPA, ROAS, MER, CAC, LTV, AOV, and contribution margin.
• Evaluate attribution, tracking, and conversion data to distinguish profitable growth from platform-reported results.
• Collaborate with the Creative Strategist to analyze creative performance, identify winning concepts, and guide testing priorities.
• Identify creative fatigue, declining efficiency, and opportunities to improve campaign performance.
• Optimize campaigns based on marginal returns, customer acquisition economics, and overall business profitability.
• Leverage AI-powered tools, automation, and reporting systems to improve performance and operational efficiency.
• Delegate routine campaign execution to support resources and communicate actionable performance insights to leadership.
• Explore and support additional channels, including TikTok, Pinterest, Google Ads, and Axon (AppLovin), as relevant to the brands.
Qualifications
• 3–5+ years of hands-on performance media buying experience, preferably with DTC fashion and eCommerce brands.
• Proven experience personally managing and scaling $300,000–$500,000+ in monthly advertising spend.
• Advanced expertise in Meta Ads, including cost caps, bid caps, minimum ROAS, and advanced scaling strategies.
• Demonstrated experience scaling campaigns to $10,000+ in daily spend.
• Deep understanding of eCommerce unit economics, including CPA, CAC, ROAS, MER, LTV, break-even points, and contribution margins.
• Experience with TripleWhale.
• Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Strong understanding of pixels, conversion signals, attribution windows, and server-side tracking.
• Experience with TikTok, Pinterest, and Axon (AppLovin), or the ability to ramp up quickly.
• Ability to translate performance data into actionable creative insights and collaborate effectively with creative teams.
• Strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Highly analytical and confident working with large volumes of performance data.
• Takes ownership of results and operates with a strong commercial mindset.
• Disciplined in testing, scaling winners quickly, and cutting underperforming campaigns.
• Focused on profitable growth rather than vanity metrics.
• Proactive, accountable, and consistent under pressure.
• Collaborative, low-ego, and results-oriented.
Offer Details
•
Compensation: USD $4,500 per month, plus performance-based bonuses.
•
Employment Type: Full-time, B2B freelance contract.
•
Location: Fully remote, open to candidates worldwide.
•
Working Hours: 8 hours per day, with some overlap with the Australian time zone required for streamlined communication.
•
Paid Leave: 20 days of paid annual leave and 10 days of paid sick leave.
