About the Company
Our client is a rapidly growing coffee roasting and manufacturing business supplying private-label coffee to major US retailers and businesses, including large convenience, restaurant and retail chains.
Due to significant growth, they are looking for an experienced EDI & Reporting Coordinator to take ownership of their EDI processes, purchase orders and customer reporting.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organised, technically confident and enjoys troubleshooting operational issues.

The Role
You will be responsible for ensuring purchase orders flow correctly through the company's EDI systems, troubleshooting issues and working closely with internal teams and the company's EDI provider.
You will also support the preparation and maintenance of customer coffee reports, using Excel and potentially AI tools to improve and streamline reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities
● Manage and monitor purchase orders received through EDI
● Troubleshoot EDI and purchase order issues
● Investigate incorrect pricing, failed transactions and other processing issues
● Work directly with SPS Commerce to resolve EDI issues
● Assist with setting up EDI connections for new retail customers
● Ensure orders successfully flow between customer and internal systems
● Maintain accurate records of EDI activity and purchase orders
● Prepare and update customer coffee reports
● Work with large datasets and spreadsheets to ensure reporting accuracy
● Identify opportunities to improve and automate reporting processes
● Work closely with internal operations, finance and customer support teams
● Communicate effectively through email, phone and Microsoft Teams
● Take ownership of issues and follow them through to resolution

Requirements

● Previous experience working with EDI systems
● Experience processing and troubleshooting purchase orders
● Experience with SPS Commerce or a similar EDI provider
● Strong Excel skills
● Experience working with detailed reports and large datasets
● Strong attention to detail and accuracy
● Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
● Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
● Strong written and spoken English
● Comfortable communicating with internal teams and external service providers
● Experience with Sage is highly desirable
● Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude would be an advantage

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive and solutions-focused.

You should be comfortable working through technical issues without needing constant supervision and have a strong sense of ownership over your work.

The ideal person will be calm, organised and able to work with a sense of urgency when issues arise, particularly where a problem could affect customer orders.

If you have EDI experience and enjoy improving processes rather than simply completing tasks, this could be a great opportunity.
