About Pleo

Messy spend management is tricky business. And tedious processes are a lose-lose situation for all involved, not just finance. At Pleo, we're changing that. We build spend solutions that make managing money seamless, empowering, and surprisingly effective for finance teams and employees alike - with a vision to help all businesses ‘go beyond’.

The word ‘Pleo’ actually means ‘more than you’d expect’, and living by that mantra has been the secret to our success over the last 10 years1 .

Now, we’re at a pivotal moment in our journey; every move we make has a direct impact on our 40,000+ customers, our business, and our collective success. We need people who take pride in uncovering customer needs, who turn complex problems into simple solutions, challenge the way things are done (respectfully), and always aim high. With great ambitions driving us forward, we can’t say we’ve got this whole thing figured out. And frankly, that’s half the fun! What we can say is that we’re a driven, progressive, and, importantly, a kind bunch of 850+ people from over 100 nationalities, all committed to delivering the future of business spending, together.

The role

Every deal Pleo closes runs through a chain of systems. It starts with a quote in the CRM, moves through pricing, contract, and billing, and ends with revenue in the ERP. You’ll own that chain.

This role is part systems specialist and part product owner. You’ll manage the Order-to-Cash application portfolio as a product. That means a clear roadmap, a prioritised backlog, and an honest view of what gets built and why. You’ll work with Billing, Deal Desk, Pricing, Finance, and Sales, who all want different things from the same systems. You’ll balance those needs and decide.

As Pleo moves upmarket, quoting and billing are getting more complex: multi-entity accounts, multiple currencies, and enterprise contracts. You’ll help shape the next generation of our quote-to-cash tooling.

What you’ll do

• Own the O2C portfolio. Act as product owner for the tools that support quote to cash, including HubSpot Quoting, our pricing calculator and CPQ, DocuSign and integrations with Zuora, and NetSuite

• Set the roadmap. Build and maintain a roadmap and backlog that reflect business priorities. Think 1–2 quarters ahead and propose improvements before they become problems.

• Manage demand. Take in requests from O2C, Billing, Deal Desk, Pricing, and Sales. Assess impact, prioritise against revenue outcomes, and give stakeholders clear answers, including no.

• Design end-to-end processes. Map the lead-to-cash flow, find breaks and manual workarounds, and design solutions that hold up at enterprise scale.

• Deliver large changes. Lead medium and large enhancements from requirements through process flows, user stories, configuration, UAT, and release.

• Work with engineers. Translate business needs into clear requirements for BAT Engineering, and own functional testing and sign-off.

• Protect billing integrity. Make sure what’s sold, what’s contracted, and what’s billed stay in sync. Treat data quality, controls, and audit trails as part of the job.

• Own vendor relationships. Manage key O2C vendors, including performance against SLAs, licence usage, and input into renewals with Procurement.

• Support tooling decisions. Contribute to evaluations of off-the-shelf CPQ and CLM options, and to buy-versus-build decisions.

• Enable and mentor. Train business users on new processes, peer review colleagues’ work, and support analysts on the team.

What you’ll bring

• 8+ years in business applications, with deep experience across quote-to-cash or order-to-cash systems.

• Hands-on experience with CPQ, billing, and ERP platforms, such as Zuora, NetSuite, Salesforce CPQ, HubSpot Quotes, Chargebee, or similar. You understand how they connect.

• Solid knowledge of SaaS commercial processes, including pricing and packaging, discounting and approvals, contracts, subscription billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition basics.

• Product ownership experience: roadmaps, backlogs, prioritisation frameworks, and saying no with a reason.

• Strong stakeholder management. You can hold competing priorities from Finance, Sales, and Deal Desk in one conversation and get to a decision.

• Experience leading delivery in Agile teams, including user stories, sprints, UAT, and release management.

• Excellent written and spoken English. You’ll work with teams across Europe every day.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing or migrating CPQ or CLM tools.

• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency billing in a regulated or fintech environment.

• Familiarity with SQL or data tools for reconciliation and reporting.
