About the role
WhereTo is looking for a Product Enablement Specialist to help run the function that becomes the go-to point of contact for product questions across our business. WhereTo is a nimble, startup-minded team within Flight Centre Travel Group focused on building the next-generation business travel platform that serves two of Flight Centre's main business travel brands, Corporate Traveller and FCM.
As Product Enablement Specialist, you'll own the day-to-day execution of the function: triaging incoming questions and stakeholder feedback, consolidating roadmap information, supporting go-to-market communication for new releases, drafting release notes and product-win comms, and documenting what's shipped, working closely with and reporting to the Product Enablement Lead, who sets the standards and handles anything complex or sensitive. You'll be a key point of contact for Sales, Account Management, Customer Support, and Brand stakeholders when they need clear, accurate answers about what we're building.
If you're a sharp, clear communicator who enjoys being the person who always has the answer, or knows exactly who does, we'd love to hear from you.
About you
Experience:
• 2+ years in a role centered on internal communications, product operations, technical/solutions support, or a similar cross-functional capacity.
• Experience translating technical or product detail for non-technical audiences.
Skills:
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, this is the core of the role.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort maintaining a single source of truth across multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to synthesize complex product information into clear, concise updates for varied audiences.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, Product Marketing, Sales, and Account Management.
• Proficient with roadmap and release management tooling (Product Board and JIRA being our current tools of choice) and internal comms platforms (e.g., Workvivo).
Industry Knowledge:
• General understanding of the business travel industry and WhereTo's product portfolio across both brands.
• Comfort learning quickly across a broad product surface, since this role touches the full breadth of what WhereTo builds rather than one specific product line.
Adaptability:
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, particularly while helping stand up a brand-new function.
