We're running a paid study on operational tools for independent coffee shops and small hospitality venues. We have developed a proposed shift-handover checklist concept and want to evaluate its overall market viability. Your operational expertise will help us validate our pricing hypothesis and refine our initial go-to-market strategy.
How It Works
You will complete a remote asynchronous task to review the details of our proposed checklist product. We will present you with our core assumptions regarding the target buyer, pricing model, and first customer acquisition channel. You will assess these elements based on your industry experience and provide a concise written review of the concept. Finally, you will outline one practical step we can take to validate this idea with real businesses.
Who This Is For
We are looking for professionals with hands-on experience running or managing independent cafés. We welcome current or former café owners, general managers, shift supervisors, and hospitality operations consultants. You should have a strong understanding of how daily shift handovers work and what operational tools venues are willing to purchase.
What You'll Do
Review a proposed shift-handover checklist concept designed for independent cafés.
Evaluate our hypothesis regarding the target buyer and pricing model.
Assess the viability of our proposed first acquisition channel.
Deliver a concise written review summarizing your feedback.
Suggest one practical validation step to test the concept in the market.
Who Should Apply
Professional experience managing or owning an independent café
Familiarity with shift-handover processes and daily operational workflows
Understanding of B2B purchasing decisions within the hospitality sector
Comfortable providing clear, actionable written feedback
