Senior Implementation Manager

Supermove Remote

Customer Service

About Supermove

Supermove builds software and AI for moving companies. We've raised $30M from Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and other investors. We started in 2019 as the system that runs a moving business: sales, operations, crews, billing. Today that system runs moving companies across the US, Canada and Australia, from single-location movers to some of the largest van lines and franchise systems in North America.

Now we're putting AI to work on top of it. Our voice agents answer and call leads, book moves, and hand off to a person at the right moment. Autopilot, our agent platform, goes further. It answers questions about the business in plain language, flags what needs attention, and handles work that used to take a person's whole day, from working the inbox to updating jobs.

The role

Every moving company runs on its own logic: its own rates and tariffs, its own way of paying crews and commissioning salespeople, its own accounting system, and often a van line with rules of its own. When a customer signs, someone has to turn all of that into a working Supermove account. That's you.

You'll own implementations from kickoff to go-live and a clean handoff to our customer success team, running several at once. On our largest accounts, you'll work alongside a Key Account Director who owns the relationship and the results. You own the build.

This is a hands-on role. You won't write requirements and hand them to someone else. You'll be inside Supermove every day, configuring, testing, and tracing why an invoice or a sync came out wrong. The people who love this job would rather be in the tool than reporting on it.

What you'll do

  • Run implementations from kickoff to go-live: discovery, configuration, testing, training, launch. Set the dates and hold the customer and our team to them.

  • Turn how a customer charges and pays into working configuration: pricing and tariffs, billing formulas, hourly minimums, crew pay, and salesperson and contract-driver commissions.

  • Design account structures for multi-location companies and franchise systems, and build master templates that dozens or hundreds of locations can start from.

  • Set up and fix accounting integrations. Map the general ledger, get invoices and vendor bills flowing to Sage Intacct or QuickBooks, and help the customer's finance team reconcile.

  • Connect customers to their van lines (Unigroup, SIRVA and others) so orders, statements and settlements flow without retyping.

  • Set up voice agents and Autopilot workflows with the customer. Decide where the AI acts on its own and where a person signs off, then listen to real calls and fix what's failing.

  • Use AI agents to do the work faster: investigating issues, drafting configuration, working through data, answering customer questions. Then help define what our own configuration and Autopilot agents should do next.

  • Turn what customers run into into clear bug reports and product requests, with screenshots and the customer's own words, and follow them through with engineering.

  • Train customer teams, from office staff to crews, around how they'll actually use the system, not a generic tour of features.

  • Improve how we implement. Own the templates, checklists, QA and handoff steps, and teach new team members.

What this role asks of you

  • Comfort with how money moves. You know what a general ledger, AP and AR, a vendor bill and a reconciliation are, and you can talk to a controller in their language.

  • Logic and formulas. You can turn a commission sheet or a rate contract into rules a system can run, and spot the case that breaks them.

  • Comfort ahead of the documentation. We're putting AI into an industry that's never had it, so there's often no runbook yet. You'll design the approach while running it, then write it down so the next implementation starts further ahead.

  • AI as a working tool. You already use AI to get more done, not as a novelty. Candidates who've built it into how they work stand out.

  • Patience with a low-tech user base. Dispatchers, sales reps, and owners who've run the same way for twenty years. Changing how they work takes credibility on the ground as much as a project plan.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years implementing or configuring complex business software (ERP, accounting, payroll, field-service, or vertical SaaS) for customers, owning the go-live. Experience with field-heavy businesses like construction, home services, fleet or logistics is a plus.

  • Accounting or bookkeeping experience is a big plus.

  • Technical enough to troubleshoot. You understand APIs, webhooks and data syncs well enough to tell where something broke. SQL or light scripting is a plus.

  • You've run several projects at once without dropping any, and you can tell us how.

  • Clear and steady with customers, whether you're training a dispatcher or telling a controller why the numbers don't match yet.

  • You write clearly. A lot of this job happens in writing.

  • Moving, van-line or relocation experience is a plus. We'll teach you the industry.

Why this role matters

A moving company trusts us with how it quotes, bills, pays its people and closes its books. If implementation gets that right, everything built on top of it works, AI included. You'll shape how we implement as we grow into larger and more complex customers, and how our own AI agents take on more of this work.
