The Technical Project Manager – SAP Deployment is responsible for coordinating and driving the technical and operational activities required to successfully deploy the Project Elevate SAP solution to BFS field locations. This position serves as a key connection point between Deployment Field Services, the Deployment Hub, Core Project teams, Business Enablement, site leadership, SAP functional/technical teams, Security, Data, Training, and support organizations. The role drives deployment readiness, manages dependencies and risks, coordinates cutover and Hypercare activities, and ensures technical issues are identified, routed, tracked, and resolved through the appropriate teams. The position is not intended to be an SAP configuration/development role. Rather, the Technical Project Manager must understand SAP-enabled business processes and the BFS deployment model well enough to identify dependencies, facilitate technical problem solving, manage cross-functional execution, and communicate clearly between technical teams and field/site operations. Key Responsibilities

• Deployment Planning & Execution

Lead team readiness and SAP functional training, ensuring team members develop the knowledge, skills, and hands-on proficiency required to confidently support their assigned functional area during deployment, go-live, and Hypercare. Prepare and coach team members for effective end-user support, reinforcing strong communication, patience, professionalism, problem-solving, and a positive, customer-focused attitude when working with end users. Drive go-live and Hypercare readiness, keeping the team focused, engaged, and accountable while monitoring training progress, addressing knowledge gaps, reinforcing key processes, and ensuring the team is prepared to provide effective on-site support under demanding deployment conditions. Develop and maintain detailed deployment plans for assigned SAP deployment waves and locations. Coordinate technical activities across pre-deployment, readiness, cutover, go-live, Hypercare, and transition-to-support phases. Coordinate activities across multiple BFS locations and deployment workstreams. Ensure owners, due dates, dependencies, and escalation paths are clearly established. Identify schedule conflicts and critical-path risks early and drive them toward resolution.

• Technical & Site Readiness

Coordinate and track readiness of technical dependencies required for successful field deployment, including applicable:

SAP environment/access readiness User roles and security access Site and deployment data readiness Devices and handheld technology Infrastructure and connectivity dependencies Interfaces and application dependencies Training/practice environments Deployment and support tools Build effective working relationships with BFS site leaders and field teams

• Cutover & Go-Live Coordination

Coordinate Field Deployment activities associated with production cutover and go-live. Maintain visibility to critical cutover tasks, dependencies, owners, status, and blockers. Facilitate deployment checkpoints and escalation discussions. Coordinate with Deployment Hub, Core Project, business, technical, and field resources when cutover activities affect site readiness. Ensure issues discovered during deployment are routed to the appropriate owner rather than allowing field teams to develop unsupported workarounds. Translate field operational issues into information technical and functional teams can act upon. Help technical teams understand the real-world business impact of deployment issues. Maintain focus on business continuity during deployment. Promote adoption of standard BFS Way processes rather than unsupported local workarounds.

• Hypercare & Incident Coordination

Support operational stabilization after SAP go-live. Monitor deployment issues and incidents requiring cross-team coordination. Drive appropriate triage and escalation of technical, functional, data, access, integration, or process issues. Work with ServiceNow and support teams to maintain visibility to issues affecting field operations. Facilitate prioritization of issues based on operational impact. Track significant issues through resolution and communicate progress to deployment leadership and affected stakeholders. Support transition from Hypercare into steady state support. Produce concise deployment status reporting for Deployment leadership. Facilitate recurring technical deployment/readiness meetings. Translate technical information into clear business impact for field and leadership audiences. Escalate decisions requiring leadership intervention with clear options, impacts, and recommended next steps.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, Supply Chain, or comparable professional experience. 5+ years of technical project management, ERP deployment, IT implementation, or comparable large-scale transformation experience. Experience supporting SAP implementations, ERP deployments, or multi-site enterprise technology rollouts. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sites, workstreams, dependencies, risks, and technical teams concurrently. Ability to translate between technical teams and nontechnical field/business users. Demonstrated experience operating in high-pressure go-live or production-support environments. Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and executive communication skills. Ability to travel to BFS field locations as required by deployment activities.

Preferred Qualifications

SAP S/4HANA deployment experience Experience with large-scale, multi-location ERP implementations SAP functional knowledge in one or more areas relevant to BFS Cutover and Hypercare experience Experience supporting manufacturing, warehouse, transportation, distribution, supply-chain, or building-material operations Experience coordinating internal teams, systems integrators, and third-party field-support partners
